Fellow Members,

I have tended my resignation to the Cabinet as President of the ACWGC. I am sorry that I cannot complete my term and that I let you down. The fact is that I just do not have the will to do it anymore. I am running low on patience and before it gets out of hand it is best I leave. Thank you all for your support. I will enjoy my tent at the AoG and will get back into gaming.

I ask the Cabinet to setup an election committee and to announce the following schedule. A voting booth will be setup at the required time.

March 11 - 17 - Nominations
March 18 - 31 - Campaigning
April 1 - 14 - Voting

Thanks again to all.

I am disappointed but at the same time I think I understand easily enough. The President, as things stand in the Club right now, is basically asked to have a full-time job in running things on the Cabinet, on the Forums, and within the Forum Admin. Right or Wrong - Fair or Not - not really an issue at the moment. It's just the way it is. Pierre also has the added responsibility of being the website admin for the wargame server - thats like doing a full-time job plus overtime each week.

Few would have the patience to deal with it all so I can't criticize because I have been there myself. So I just say "Thanks" to Pierre for his service to the Club over the past 6 months (err... really fifteen years!). He isn't going anywhere though - like he said he will return to the AoG and rejoin his comrades.

Sorry to see you are stepping down.

Good luck in playing out of the AoG.

Thanks for your years of service to the club, in many roles.

<<SALUTE>>

Gentlemen,

I just wanted reiterate that the reason of my resignation was not due to any major conflicts with other Cabinet members. Yes there were normal issues that occur between any group. The current Current members are all fine gentlemen. I failed to realize that many of the current members were new and needed guidance in what to do and when to do it. I was pushing things too quickly, which is my nature to get things done as expediently as possible. I could not manage the situation and was quite impatient. I think age is catching up to me. Less energy and staying power to deal with day to day issues.

The issue is with the current system which requires time and patience to effectively manage it. I tried to devote the time, cut back on all my gaming, but I think the burn out was still there from so many years ago.

I thought that a clarification was needed.
