I would like to thank General Garner for his fine service as the Army Commander. During Jim’s tenure the AotM has successfully fought a great many battles against those persons up north and they have had a lot of fun doing it.

General Garner please step forward; for your fine service as Army Commander I hereby award you your third Patrick Cleburne Medal of Service.

Officers of the CSA. <salute>

Congratulations General Garner and Lt. General Miller.
I am confident in your capability to give our righteous cause nothing but grief.

And a special congratulations to General McOmish.
That was a smartly done change of command.

Respectfully

That's because you couldn't see his Chief of Staff propping him up from behind the podium. He's been telling everyone how he "laid off the sauce" for a full hour the other day. There is even word that he is having a Medal struck to commemorate the occasion.

Then the credit to a great Chief of Staff for not only arranging and executing, but being completely unknown.
(Is that not the fate of all CoS?)
And a full hour, well sir, I tip, (and not my hat), to you!
(It looks like I will not be considered for that award any time soon!)

Respectfully

Forgive my tardiness Gen. McOmish,

I’m afraid the campaign trail has kept me from my usual rounds.

God Speed LTG Miller, it appears the AotM is still in good hands!

Gen. Garner, Suh!, Three Cheers, for a job well done and a well deserved break!
