Sirs,

May I raise a glass to my fellow officers in the CSA and those with a northern persuasion who I hope to defeat in the future.

<Cheers> <Salute>

I hope to be in the field shortly but for now it is time to celebrate.

Field Lieutenant Barett <salute>

Suh, my compliments!

We're certainly willing to raise a glass in your honor, although I hope you weren't counting on General Strickler to cover the tab. He has a habit of leaving his wallet in his "other pants".

Happy hunting and best regards,

Welcome to the Club Suh and to the cause - I do hope that you are not one of the new breed of young officers who drinks responsibly? There is no place in this man's army for exercising restraint when it comes to alcohol and women

Welcome Sir! <salute>

I wish you good gaming and good camaraderie, both of which you should find in the Club.

Respectfully

Post Script: Well said General McOmish, well said.

<Salute> Venerable Sirs,

I always drink responsibly. I find other people's drinks are far cheaper allowing me to spend my own money more wisely, on loose women. ;-)

Fld Lt Barett have you thought about joining the CSA Tactical Drinking Team, we have training most week nights at Mrs Miggins Pie Shop and Bordello. There are games (drinking) most weekends at Union taverns.

Gentlemen, I happily invite you into the Union forums. Since your strange script is not acceptable, you always pay in gold and silver coinage - our sutlers are always ready to accept even rebel coinage!

Lt Barrett, being happily married (I am so informed, well, she tells me so), I cannot partake of even the better class Union bordellos, but I can assure you, I will keep pace at any drinking game (such as is tolerated or, at least, not contemplated by SWMBO!)
