Congratulations and deepest respects to Generals Weir and Nelms for stepping forward as candidates and conducting such measured and steady campaigns. Their personal commitment and concern for the continued good health and stability of the Club is most appreciated.

I salute all those officers on each side of the Mason-Dixon Line who took the time to cast their votes and participate in this election. This was an excellent turnout!

As General Weir assumes his new duties I extend to him my support and expectations for a productive and successful presidency.

I have ordered a special shipment of celebratory libations to be delivered here to the Mason-Dixon Line shortly, provided that it is not first raided by the notorious "McOmish and crew!"

Congratulations to Generals Nelms and Weir for the excellent manner in which they ran their campaigns. The ACWGC is a winner by having each of you as members, regardless of the final vote. Thank you!

Highest regards,

Congratulations, Bob. For me, it was a win-win, no matter who won. Both candidates loyal playtesters for me for a long time.

Well done to both officers for stepping up to look after our club <salute>. Unfortunately Gen Meyer is correct, any celebrations and or commiseration will be dry as my raiders have cleared the MD line (100 miles each side) of all alcoholic beverages as part of my ongoing temperance campaign. The confiscated beverages are currently being tasted by my good self to test of alcohol content.

This was a very close race and a fine effort by both men. Well done. Many thanks to the 130 Club Members who voted. We are fortunate to be part of a functional organization that promotes so much quality hobby time. None of it would be possible without the participation of players like yourselves. <SALUTE>

Thank You to Gen. Mark Nelms for running a most honorable campaign. <Salute>

Thank You also to all the club members that participated in the election process, using the forum voting booth we had a great turn out this time around. Like most of you I wasn’t too worried about which way the election went as it really was a win-win situation.

Over the coming days and weeks I hope to reacquaint myself with the Cabinet and begin to get caught up on Club business.
My door is always open, please do not hesitate to contact me with any issues involving the club or cabinet and I will do my utmost to keep the membership informed as I fulfill my term as president.

My hearty congratulations to General Weir on his election as club president and my sincere thanks to my friend General Nelms on running a fine campaign. Both officers were deserving of this post.

I salute you both!
