I remember the first time I saw the movie "Gettysburg." In a regular theatre, and not a small one. I didn't bother to come very early, because I had no idea that I would find a long long line at the box office. My seats were a little too close and way off on the side aisle, but the experience of viewing a movie in a large sold-out movie theatre remains clear and sharp to this day . . . A few random memories: at intermission, after Little Round Top, as the lights came up, the large audience gave a collective sigh, like they had been holding their breath with tension during the intensity of the battle . . . Largest laugh was when Chamberlain told the guy without a musket that there would be guns available shortly . . . At intermission, a group of re-enactors who had actually been in the film were quite popular, telling everyone to get ready for Picket's Charge . . . Standing, stomping, cheering ovation at the end.

I apparently have not seen Gettysburg enough, as the the Cheryl Ladd picture was noticed instantly. What top 10 list?
