Whats ironic if I remember correctly... both Jackson and Lee in their words at their death were referring to AP Hill |

Some suggest Lee's last words were: "Tell Hill to come up. Strike the tent". However, Lee was bed-ridden for days prior to his departure and from first hand accounts was barely able to speak a word. Therefore, some doubt whether the reference to Hill was possible. As far as Jackson goes, I do not know. <salute!> |
