what do the experts use to open and edit scn files.

Use Scenario Editor. You can also open the text file of the scenario and make certain changes, such as changing the pdt, but anything else will usually screw up the scenario.
What specifically did you have in mind?

I just found it in the editor...............adjusting the probability of arrival.
