Gentlemen,

I would like to take the time to acknowledge Confederate Major General Tom Phillips for good sportsmanship.

He graciously allowed me to replay a turn after my hand slipped and accidentally hit the end phase button after moving only one unit while in the heat of battle.

Major General Phillips display of good sportsmanship and character is a credit to himself, the Army of the Confederacy and the ACWGC in general.

Salute!

Actually, good sportsmanship on both sides; Col Paul for NOT replaying and explaining the problem and Gen Phillips for allowing the replay!!

Good conduct all around.

I have played many games against General Phillips and have found him to be of the most admirable opponents. He is a credit to the club.

Col Paul, may I suggest you select 'Ask before advancing' under settings.
this will prevent you from hitting the end phase button by mistake as it will then ask you if you are sure you want to move to the next phase ...

my compliments to both of you

 Yes, this obvious precaution which Francois mentions was recently addressed in the "Between the Lines'" Microsoft article. Item number seven, regarding air bags. :)

I wasn't aware of this but I'll be using it from now on.

Thanks!
