Gentlemen,
I have added a new page to the Old Banshee website.
The page is called Boxes of Soldiers, "Why" you may ask well? Ok I will tell you.
When I was a boy I used to buy boxes of the Airfix ACW figures the excitement of taking my 2 shillings to shop or getting a box as a Birthday or Christmas present was unbelievable.
Now on this new page I am putting new 3d and unit images for you to put in your games.
This will be your Box of Soldiers.
What will you get?
1) A row of 3D images which will go into your 3DUnits100c.bmp
2) A row of 3D images which will go into your 3DUnits50c.bmp
3) A Unit image to go into your Units.bmp
I will be working on new bmp for all the titles as JTS will be unlocking the oobs when the series has finished, but that will be an ongoing thing.
There will be more added as I finish the artwork.
The first Box has been uploaded the 14th Brooklyn 1861 (New style Flag and Drummer boy added instead of the officer in the 3d images)
Let me know what you think?
If you want to know how to put these in you game or want graphic aids to assist you then please ask. You will have to know the basics of how to use an art package But I can guide you trough it. I would recommend paint.net link is on the site. It is free.
Any questions. Please ask.
All the best,
Frank

Hi, Frank,

I would just like to thank you for your selfless contributions to improving the quality of graphics in our games.

Somewhere I have a whole cardboard box full of painted Civil War Airfix figures; cavalry, infantry and artillery.
They were a lot of fun in my younger days.

Don't kid us, Mike. I know exactly where my toy soldiers are, and I'll bet you do, too.

Not quite a foot at my place. See, we are just outside the edge of normal Lake Erie effect snow, so only occasionally does it impact us. Go ten miles north or west, and you've got something to talk about!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

General Mullins,
Frank,

Most excellent work as usual, Sir! <salute>

I use paint.net all the time. The best program I've ever used... and the price is right!
