Gentlemen,

HPS has official 2.0 updates (mixed org. option and ability to build trenches in some scenarios)
released 8/29 for Corinth, Shiloh, Vicksburg, and Atlanta.

I hope everyone knows enough to know they should wait till they finished existing battles before updating.

Also.........does this mean we have to re install "Banshee" mods after updating........?

The Banshee mods do need to be reinstalled as they contain OOB files.

Updating the game doesn't affect the battles already started.

as david said, the patches don't effect games in progress. there is no reason not to update. if everybody updates there is no problem.

Updating should be done by all players in a game.

These upgrades are another sign of the commitment of John Tiller to the ACW series (and the Nappy series) of games. Tiller is releasing, through John Tiller Software, new versions of the ACW games and NEW games. As more members get the JTS versions, those of us that already have the HPS versions, must upgrade to be compatible with these new JTS versions and to take advantage with any new revisions/fixes in the upgrades.

Upgrading should always be done, as it keeps everyone current AND, the best part, there is no cost involved.

Updating can really b a pain in the ass if you are like me and don't know shit about computers, files and all the rest. I tried to update Corinth lol and now my units look like fleas, and some are ghosts and others are routed, this may explain why I lose every fight. It could also mean I ain't worth a crap.
