My grand fathers story was but a small part of what men like him did who would die rather be a slave. he was born free and would not have his enslave brothers be slaves. His story in the war ended and the story of the USCT continues   The USCT story continues...

The more you can put together into written form for posterity, the more will be remembered and appreciated by future generations. May their effort and sacrifice never be forgotten! |

Sir a great many people would never ever know that the war between the States was not just a North vs South thing State rights vs Federal government . But it was over slavery and if you are not willing to fight for your freedom you don't need to be free! The Story of the USCT continuous with many things that many people never will hear of or know. |
