|Post subject:||"Hey, MULE!"|
I suppose that John Tiller thought that by adding some contrariness to the way that those JTS/HPS supply wagons move in column that we'd all appreciate the frustrations of the famous Army mule! Ever had a nice column of supply wagons rolling nicely along and then hit one of those annoying loop backs in the road that Army mules just don't seem to recognize? Faster that you can say, "Damn it!", one of those wagons is off headed the wrong way, burning up valuable movement factors in the process. Combat units in column seem to have no problem negotiating these switch backs. It's only those dang mules!
Onliest way to beat it is to take the reins yourself for each and every wagon. A helluva thing! But then that's all a part of it, isn't it?
Or you can go here http://www.gutenberg.org/files/10878/10878-h/10878-h.htm and see how to train those critters the right way!
