Lieutenant-General Evans, Thank you Sir for relaying the sad news of the passing of Major-General George Denney. Your heart-felt words are a fitting tribute, and we'll ensure George is remembered with our other valued friends & gaming partners who have crossed the bar. On behalf of the ACWGC, I am extremely sorry for your loss. <SALUTE> |

I remember when George joined the club. was assigned to the AotS and would serve in the VI Corps there until it was discontinued, he was always active and served as a Division CO for several years. Had the pleasure of meeting him at TIller Con. My respects and condolences to his family. |

Sad news about George Denney. I only interacted with him through the Tournaments but he was always one of the first to volunteer. He will be missed in the Club. SALUTE |

You've posted in the right spot Owen. My sympathies on George's passing, not only to his family, but as his friend of so many decades. We have a lot to be thankful that he introduced you to the Club. Ken Miller shared George's obituary for the memorial page and it reads of a life well lived. https://www.cavanaghfuneralhome.com/obi ... d=30380063 |
