Lieutenant-General Evans,

Thank you Sir for relaying the sad news of the passing of Major-General George Denney. Your heart-felt words are a fitting tribute, and we'll ensure George is remembered with our other valued friends & gaming partners who have crossed the bar. On behalf of the ACWGC, I am extremely sorry for your loss.

I remember when George joined the club. was assigned to the AotS and would serve in the VI Corps there until it was discontinued, he was always active and served as a Division CO for several years.
Had the pleasure of meeting him at TIller Con.

My respects and condolences to his family.

Sad news about George Denney. I only interacted with him through the Tournaments but he was always one of the first to volunteer. He will be missed in the Club.

My condolences to his family and friends, particularly those here in the ACWGC. I never had the pleasure of making Georges acquaintance here but the passing of a member is sad.

You've posted in the right spot Owen. My sympathies on George's passing, not only to his family, but as his friend of so many decades. We have a lot to be thankful that he introduced you to the Club.

Ken Miller shared George's obituary for the memorial page and it reads of a life well lived. https://www.cavanaghfuneralhome.com/obi ... d=30380063
