Interesting. I was reading (I know not the same, but...) in my archaeology magazine, about these archaeologists who made looms in the style of 9th Century AD so they can reproduce recently discovered textile cloths. They have the 1000 year old garments (usually from burial sites) so they know how they were made and how the intricate patterns were constructed. It is kind of an archaeological reverse engineering project. Maybe Delaware needs something like that for restoring the flags. |
