I know this has been discussed, but when the heck with HPS update to JTS 2.0 (saw reference on the HPS forum board that JTS patches were being evaluated in April of this year). Without this I'm a frustrated Yank waiting on the sidelines to get a game going (I only own JTS versions) |

Scroll down a few threads and you'll see one entitled JTS - HPS updates. It will tell you what to do. I just went through the process for France '14 and a couple of Nappy games and it only took about 24 hours for them to get back to me and to get patched up. Your mileage may vary a bit as Rich has a lot of irons in the fire. |

I might have mis-understood you, but I have the JTS game which is 2.0 - I'm waiting on HPS to do a mass update as they alluded to in their Forum board back in April. Don't believe it's my games that need to be touched (I'll look at that thread though) |

It wouldn't be yours as it's already 2.0. The only other one that qualifies for the transition via patch is Antietam. Are you having issues finding a CSA officer to play?? |

Scott, I did try to play a game with an owner of the HPS series; we had a technical issue which we attributed to the version differences. I have Atlanta and Chickamauga JTS games; happy to try one of those with you to see if we are seeing same issue. John |

Not sure if it'll work John. Been hit or miss for me too. What I can do is put out the call for anyone who owns the JTS version of either game and see if I get any replies. Might take a bit, but will give it a go. |

Unless an HPS version has been updated to Tiller 2.0, it will not be compatible with the latter. Doug Shaw was having the same compatibility problem and sent me a BTE file from each version. The header records do not match to begin. The rest of the files bear little resemblance to each other even though encrypted. The files Doug sent me were from the same start point. From another thread, Rich Hamilton has yet to begin work on updating the remaining HPS entries. |

Atlanta was updated to 2.00 on the HPS site so I think you should be able to compete against HPS Atlanta owners. |

Ahh I just went to HPS updates page, Atlanta plus a few other are updated. Off I go for a Reb to play an Atlanta scenario!! |
