I think part of the reason so many of our suggestions fell on deaf ears is that JT was spread too thin covering multiple wars. |

There have been some very interesting recent changes, and yes, a new ACW team does exist. There will be new features, programing, graphics and many other things coming in the near future. As a consequence, Petersburg will take a bit longer than expected, but I'm sure the wait will be worth it. |

Hopefully it is a major rewrite of the game engine not just an update. The HPS/JT system is getting really old like me. Maybe this time we will also get an AI player that isn't pathetic. |

I would say that is a major code update, with many engine improvements, but don't expect a Bobby Fischer A/I. |

The pulse is beating a United States of America Red - White - & Blue for the club. Great thread. A lot of good posts, suggestions. I am saving the idea of a "tweak" where lower rated units are not as accurate in their assessment of spotted units, (say an "E" rating has a random chance of missing a Units size of anywhere up to 100, 200, 500%? While an "A" unit would for the most part be pretty accurate). (Huge, or as Bernie/Donald would say, YUGE fan of artillery batteries having limited ammo - what they can carry - unless they go back/are in range of a supply wagon/point). I think the idea of subsidizing the costs of upgrading the system is fair. Anywhose . . . beating, and will add some more comments where appropriate. Respectfully |
