Single hex, you mean like this?
In that case you have to open the file menu on the top left and choose Selection.

Ok I have windows 10 loaded HPS Shiloh got this error message at the end of the down load: string ISDX_ERR_Internal was not found in string table. Loaded a file t play an e-mail battle from an opponent and I get a black screen with one hex visible. Tried the HPS fix no good will not load a lower Direct X file as it say I have an equal or higher version. I recall a fix to this but just cannot remember what it was. |

Tanks, tried it still same thing. I know there is a fix to this just cannot remember. |

http://www.hpssims.com/vistahelp.htm Essentially, do not use the default install folder, but use something like: x:/games/etc. It also references the error you saw. Otherwise, contact Rich at Support@johntillersoftware.com |

Not using the default folder was necessary when i bought a new computer with Windows 10 and installed my CW disks from scratch. I used all caps for the titles in my new location, so they wouldn't be confused with default files wherever they appeared. |

Tried all caps new folder different area still no luck. I am trying to send him the file first see if that makes a differences. |

Success Thanks to Rich I was loading the update to default not thinking it had changed duh on me. Thanks to all for the suggestions just took time for me to shake the cobs webs out. Battle has been engaged now. |
