Good day gentlemen,
from the ACWCO Engineering Department I see that the default value for crew kill is 100, and that higher values make it less and lower values make it more likely to kill the crew.
But what plays a role in determine a crew kill here?
Is it a simple random check against a base percentage like it's done for leader casualties, and if so what is the base percentage?
Or does the fire value play a role here?

Hi, Colonel,

My understanding is the result of the fire as if it was against infantry becomes a percentage chance for a kill. For example, if the result would have been 25 if applied against infantry, it becomes a 25% chance of a crew kill if the crew number is 100.

Having said that, here's hoping Berto and his team figure out a way to give the artillery crews that can take casualties like everybody else.
