I have returned to fight once again for the Union after a long period of absence from the war. My valiant steed, Winston, who has carried me through many a battle has once again born me back to the HQ of the AoP. Rebel dogs, quake in your boots as I intend to bring you to the field of battle to settle old scores and help put down this rebellion once and for all!

With that said, drinks for all! Walter, a round for these fine gents. Good to be back guys and glad to see we have new games to look forward to as well! Once I get my games updated I will be posting challenges. :D

Welcome back Col. Peters! <Salute>

I would have to agree with you. Based on the lack of Rebel replies they must be in a state of "Shock-&-Awe" at your return and circling the wagons on how to counter your return to the battlefield.

Give'em Hell, Bill!!!

More than likely they are out back behind some barn getting drunk laughing their butts off over me back on the battlefield. I have a way of losing units in this series that is just plain unique!

Colonel Peters, Sir! <salute>

Bill, good to see you return to the fold! Been a long time since our last meal together, can't even remember how long ago that was!

Warm regards,

Your Obedient Servant,

NOT long enough!! LOL

Bill can cook up some of that SPUD VODKA. (If he was still in Idieho!) Of course, they MIGHT have taters where he is now.

Nick - that would have been in 2007 in the Fall when I made my trip to British Columbia. Lots of fun meeting you and your wife. Hope to get back up that way again eventually.

The only "taters" we have here in Imperial Beach are the ones that slipped through the border patrol net!

Oh oh - I see the CSA welcoming committee has shown up. Complete with guards to take me to Andersonville LOL

Hi Scott. I love seeing you in your regulation uniform. A bit different than that Prussian uniform I am used to but well I guess I had better get used to it.

A round for my highly esteemed friend, barman.

Just got several of my games updated to the JTS update so I should be good to go for a game soon.

Nick - as Scott Ludwig could tell you, life has become an interesting journey. Since 2007 I have helped put out five Napoleonic titles (Austerlitz, Leipzig, 1814, Bautzen and Marengo) with one other on the way. Worked with Slitherine on their Battle Academy: Fortress Metz module, lost my mother, moved back to Calif. from Idaho (an unfortunate happenstance) and basically tried to find some place to live. Since 2014 its been an odyssey right out of Homer complete with the Sirens and Cyclops ROFL. I retain my sense of humor and if anything have grown stronger in life. I live a simpler life and would never "hoard" things ever again. Having once had enough junk to fill a 2800 sq. ft, two story home, I now fit comfortably into the corner of a garage, which I rent from my relatives in the San Diego area. What once was a 40 box book library is now a two box collection and my e-book collection is modest but very much appreciated now (my back loves that).

I want to find a guest house for rent (my own bathroom for a change) eventually. Looking into writing historical novels too. Anything to tree the coon ;)

Welcome back Colonel Peters, I see you landed in the cavalry divisions of I corps. I had the honor of leading that division for a long time and I hope you settle in well.

Thanks, Christian, and way back when I lead the V Corps. A memorable event for me. :)
