Post subject:  CSA Christmas Command Ball – Sponsors Required

Gents we are planning to have a CSA Christmas Command Ball this coming Christmas Eve, which is all well and good but the CSA Chief of the Army is keeping the purse strings a bit tight – he tells me there is a war on! So, to make the event an out of control drinking binge fest it must be we will need more sponsors, so for all you Southern Officers get out there and see if you can rustle up some. We do already have some sponsors and I would like to thank them for stepping up, in order of contribution they are:

The Vicksburg Feral Brewing Company – “If you are having a beer go feral”

Mrs Miggins Pie Shop, Bar and Bordello – “The one stop shop for a man’s needs”

The CSA Move to Metric Department – “A Kilometre is longer than a Mile”

Big Bad Bobs All You Can Eat Shrimp Shop – “No Yankee blockade will have us skimp on shrimp”

J.R. Anderson & Company, Tredegar Foundry – “Big Guns of the South”

General Riggs has graciously consented to allow any Union officer who feels compelled to renew a prewar acquaintance to cross over under a flag-of-truce to attend the CSA Christmas Command Ball as in previous years when the exact location is announced and provided that CSA authorities will allow the doors to be opened to such. As a sign of consideration and freely given in the spirit of cooperation he has also cleared the way for northern concerns to also offer their individual sponsorship to the upcoming gala. Among the early respondees are the following:

From Chicago:
Nutley and Sons, Providers of Walking Lubricators and Therapeutic Papers - "Wipe On, Wipe Off!"

Shyster's Supplies & Mercantile - "Used Goods and Old Medicines"

Madame Fleming's Pleasant Associations

From Cincinnati:
Old Blue Light Beer - "Like Nothing On Earth!"

Studebaker's Wagons - "Where the iron meets the road!"

Madame Fleming's Pleasant Associations

From Sarasota:
Colonel Albright's Bar-B-Q Sauce - "Especially formulated to bring out the flavor in three-day-old meats"

Madame Fleming's Pleasant Associations

From Philadelphia:
Wild Bill Brasher's Gymnasium for Corpulent Men - "One Roll At A Time"

Carrington's Hot Tubs - "Derelict Sailing Vessels at Cut Rate Prices"

Costicant's Expectoration Academy . . . where gentlemen learn the art of graceful hacking and launching, with a special class being offered on the secrets of successful, spittoon, rim shots.

Madame Fleming's Whippery
