I apologize for the one and off absence of the last few months. I've had things to tend to on the homefront.

I did however steal a chance to get to Gettysburg yesterday, in the middle of the rain and spent three hours going about, taking photos and then enjoying it a bit after dark. It has been exceptionally rainy here along the Mason-Dixon Line and has made everything wet, but also very green and lush. The rain was a great way to enjoy it without any possible animals and for that matter not a lot of people.

The below is from the side of Little Round Top where the 83rd PA of Vincent's Brigade was. The monument serves as one for Vincent himself and also the 83rd.

That's a nice photo, Scott. I've never been there, but I'll have to guess that the 20th Maine was to the right of the monument shown and that we are looking uphill. Is that correct?

Hey Joe,

Thanks! It is to the right and a little forward of it. You are looking uphill, from the side roughly where some of Law's troops came on. When I get a moment I'll put a few more up for context.
