Hello all, Couple of years ago (when I switched to Apple; I won't touch Win 7/10 even if you give me a free computer with it) I made a snapshot of my old desktop computer (with WinXP) and mounted it as a virtual machine on my company's server. I have problems playing old Talonsoft BattleGround games; after running BG_start or BGx I am asked for CD. I could make a clone of my original CD and mount it in a virtual CD drive (on a virtual WinXP computer!) but this seems too complicated and I am loath to install some crappy SW from Internet. Buying the Matrix BG compilation? http://www.matrixgames.com/products/product.asp?gid=319 I doubt that it asks for a CD as afaik it's not sold as hardcopy but I'm sure someone here has it and can say more about it.. |
