Post subject:  ACWGC President Election - Announcement
This is the announcement for the upcoming election of the position of ACWGC President.
The current President: Ernie Sands, Term: September 19, 2015 (Elected) - September 18, 2017 (1st Term End Date) has reach the end of his 1st term and so an election has to take place according to the club rules.

The Election Committee consists of:
General David Danner
Brig. Gen. Christian Hecht
General Scott Ludwig
General Cameron McOmish

The dates of the election are as follows:
October 23 - Announce the Upcoming Election
October 26 to November 1 - Nomination Period
November 2 to November 15 - Campaigning Period
November 16 to November 22- Voting Period

Note that the Campaigning Period & Voting Period will only take place if there is more than one nominee. In case there is only one club rule 3.3.4.1.7 applies and the nominee will be elected by acclamation.

All officers of the ACWGC are encouraged to participate in this process as it is not only important for each side but for the club overall. The Club wouldn't be here without all of you as members and those of us who help to run the Club.
It is requested that commands inform their members at every level in order to ensure the best possible participation

The Confederate & Union sides of the Cabinet administer this election to make a fair process.

All details regarding this election can be found under the club rules section 3.3 Club Governance.
Details for the appropriate steps of nomination, campaigning and voting will be detailed in the corresponding threads.

The next thread will handle the Nomination Period with all details needed for anyone who wants to participate, either by nominating someone or by volunteering as candidate.
