Howdy Folks! [i.h.o - Rob (Festus) Harney]

If you are looking for an evenly match battle with a lot of unpredictable layout, I would highly recommend the below scenario:

Campaign Chickamauga:
095 GM_A Great clash north of the Cumberland

(What If, 40 Turns)
Two great armies will fight it out near the old battlefield site that saw the death of that color Confederate General Zollicoffer.
Over 120,000 men will fight this day and a bloody day it will be. (Note the exit hexes for both sides)

Maj. Larry Mills 3/3/III, ANV and I have squared off in this battle and are really enjoying it. I know many battles may be a little bit lopsided or too predictable but this one definitely isn't. Lots of troops for both sides and 40 turn to setup and square off for a large heated battle.

Hope you try it and enjoy!

NOTE: Big Thanks to Rich Hamilton for designing this one!

Thanks for the feedback!!! I will definitely try!!!

Let me know if you think that the scenario should be longer. I like matches where armies can really fight to the death!!!

Gents,

I was MG Hampel's opponent for this scenario and he is correct, this is very balanced. This thing could have many outcomes because the map alone offers some really good challenges both offensively and defensively. Derek gave me a solid whoopin on this one, but it was rewarding to play something as inviting as this scenario and lose purely based on your own decisions and not numbers or lack of ammunition. Give it a try I think you will be surprised.
