Gentlemen,

Is there a new PDT Guide for the new 300 series updates? If so can someone point to where I can get it.

The PDT version remains the same, at 8. The changes were in the exe or graphical for the newer versions.

Format of Civil War Main.Pdt

Feb 20, 2012

Line 1: Version number (1 through 8).
Line 2: Title.
Line 3: First side (0 = Union, 1 = Confederate).
Line 4: Dawn hour, dawn minute, night hour, night minute, hours of twilight, twilight visibility (if negative, causes poor weather message).
Line 5: Turn length during day turns, turn length during night turns.
Line 6: Maximum stacking in men, maximum counters per hex, number of men per Strength Point.
Line 7: For each side, brigade command radius, for each side, division command radius. If version >= 3, for each side, corps command radius, for each side, army command radius.
Line 8: Fatigue for being fired upon (not used), fatigue for taking loss (not used), fatigue for melee (not used), maximum fatigue, percent probability of fatigue recovery during day, percent probability of fatigue recovery during night.
Line 9: Movement allowance for infantry, movement allowance for cavalry, movement allowance for artillery, movement allowance for supply wagons.
Lines: For each terrain type:
Move cost for line infantry, move cost for column infantry, move cost for cavalry, move cost for artillery, move cost for supply wagons.
Lines: For each terrain hexside:
Move cost for line infantry, move cost for column infantry, move cost for cavalry, move cost for artillery, move cost for supply wagons.
Line: Move cost for line infantry uphill, move cost for column infantry uphill, move cost for cavalry uphill, move cost for artillery up hill, move cost for supply wagons uphill.
Line: Infantry change facing cost, cavalry change facing cost, artillery change facing cost.
Line: Infantry about face cost, cavalry about face cost, artillery about face cost.
Line: Infantry formation change cost, cavalry formation change cost, artillery formation change cost.
Line: Line formation rear movement penalty.
Line: Ammo loss base, for each nation, probability of ammo loss.
Line: For each nation, artillery ammo loss.
Lines: For each weapon until $, fire effectiveness values.
Line: Enfilade modifier (in percentage), cavalry modifier (in percentage), gunboat modifier
Line: For each terrain type, fire modifier (in percentage).
Line: For each terrain hexside, fire modifier (in percentage).
Line: Elevation modifier (in percentage).
Line: Leader loss base, for each side, leader wound chance, leader kill chance, leader melee wound chance, leader melee kill chance, leader melee capture chance.
Line: For each terrain type, terrain height, height of man.
Line: Probability of breastwork construction, breastwork movement cost, breastwork combat modifier (in percentage).
Line: Gunboat ammo value.
Line: Ammo reinforcement values for each side.
Line: For each terrain type, terrain flags
(0 = none, +1 = line disruption, +2 = mounted cav disruption,
4 = disrupt all not in column or not using road movement)
Line: Abatis movement cost, abatis fire modifier.
Line: The movement cost to deploy skirmishers.
Line: If version >= 2, trench movement cost, trench fire modifier (in percentage).
Line: If version >= 2, night attack penalty.
Line: If version >= 4, max bridge value and bridge repair value.
Line: If version >= 5, night movement fatigue.
Line: If version >= 7, artillery crew killed value.
Line: If version >= 8, trench value.
Lines: IF version >= 6, Weather lines starting with number 1, followed by line starting with number 0.
Weather lines:
Year Month Day Hour Minute Prob Visibility Move-Mod Art-Mod Attack-Mod Flags Name
No flags defined, value should be 0.
