Quick Overview of Tournament:

The BIG TEN Tournament!

* - 9 Individual Battles (15 turns in length)
* - 1 Final Tenth Battle (35 turns in length)

Notes:
1 - All casualties from the first original 9 battles will carry over to the final tenth battle.
2 - 1/3 of the battle fatigue will carry over as well.
3 - Both forces have the same amount of units, supplies and weapons.
4 - The only differences between the two forces are their leaders and their ratings.
5 - All Option Rules Dialog settings are on except Manual Defensive Fire & Optional Melee Resolution
(to help speed up the matches)

The tournament is based on Lee's retreat from Gettysburg. After regrouping their forces, Lee and Meade look to face off again on the Falling Wates map west of Gettysburg. In these 10 scenarios, the weather has finally cleared and given Lee and Meade a chance to inflict a decisive blow. In attempts to get the upper hand, 9 smaller engagements (Battles 1 - 9 ) will take place around Falling Waters. These 9 battles will determine the setup for the final "BIG TEN" tenth battle. All of the casualties from the first 9 battles, similar to a campaign battle, will carry over into the final fight.

Officers!, <salute>

I'm pleased to announce that the first 9 skirmish battles of the tournament are now completed. The Union forces have built a slight edge over the Rebels and the final commanding officers for each army are being selected. Each side is voting for an eligible officer from the tournament participants. Once the final officers are selected, a new posting will be made providing the tournament updates and the announcement of the BIG TEN battle.

Final BIG TEN Battle Forces:
Army__________Infantry____Cavalry___Arty___Supplies____Officers
Rebel Force______57,627______4,711_____84______4,172________25
Union Force______59,332______7,884_____94______4,938________25

Current Tournament Battle Status:
Rebel Minor Defeat (28 battles points still pending from final battle)

CURRENT SCORE:
Union: 41 Battle Points
Rebels: 31 Battle Points
