13. Before you start a scenario, verify what the movement points are for commanders/cavalry both on the road and in forests. They are not standard from one designer to the other. Also verify how much losses of infantry/cavalry/artillery/supply count as your scenario starts accumulating them because that also is not standard from one designer to the other. Sometimes they fill you in on these details in their scenario narrative, and sometimes they don’t. And if you aren’t looking to see what the victory parameters are, you must be a very carefree and joyful person. And don’t forget to check what options have been selected so that if it has to be restarted then there is less time and effort lost.
