I recently noticed that this year marked the 25th anniversary of the introduction of John Tiller-designed games. Thought it was time to voice my appreciation to all involved in the making, marketing and support of these games. It is not an overstatement to say that they have enriched my life. I don't believe I have ever received so much for so little. Not only are the games reasonably priced but updates and support (with the exception of the switch from Talonsoft to HPS) have been free of charge. For 25 years! First, I would like to offer heartfelt thanks to John Tiller for creating the series. Next I would like to thank also Rich Hamilton for his help and support not only for the games but also the three Tillercons over the years. Then there are all the campaign game designers and playtesters who gave of their time to ensure a quality product. Let's not forget Tom hook who provided the great sound tracks. I have done my share of criticizing over the years, but I want all those involved in creating the Campaign Civil War series to know that I am deeply grateful.

I heartily agree. To show my appreciation I have purchased all (I think) of their ACW games.

Happy Anniversary and many more!!!

I can only endorse General Mihalik's comments, I to think I have got a good deal - hours of fun for not a great outlay. At last count I had all the ACW series and 12 other games they produce. I have never bothered looking at any other games producers for ACW, WW2 or WW1. Well done to John Tiller and his crew <SALUTE> :D

To John Tiller, Rich Hamilton and the many others that have supported Tiller software with design, play testing, and the many areas that get into the making of these quality games.

Support has been exceptional in the Tiller series.

THANKS FOR MANY HOURS AND HOURS OF ENTERTAINMENT AND ENJOYMENT OVER THE YEARS

Well put, Mike! Both the Battleground and Campaign series are works of art. I cannot imagine my life without them. They are like dependable, old friends.

My first Tiller game was Battleground:Ardennes in 1995, currently I have over 50 Tiller games in my collection.
I agree with the comments about the years of enjoyment I have gotten out of these games and wish to add my thanks to all involved.

Maj. Gen. Mihalik, sir. <salute>

Mike, very well said. I fully agree it's long overdue to give recognition to this classic series and all the hard work Rich and the JTS ACW teams have done. So many people have contributed their time to ensure these games are as historical as possible and error free.

It's pretty amazing to see the evaluation of the games from the TalonSoft Battleground series (Now the Matrix JT Battleground Civil War) to the HPS upgrades and now the JTS updates. Just been glad to see the games evolve and continue to grow.
