OK, guys, I've been looking and editing several game turn and RTS ACW games. Looking at each of them they all have minor flows or limits. If you could, which 2 games would you combine to make the "Ultimate" American Civil War strategy game?

The two best I can think of would be JTS ACW Series with TOAW IV. This would combine all levels of battle, news reports, replacements, naval and sea movement with map editing all under one blanket. Wish I could get Berto to read this and consider the changes. ;o)

For RTS, Sid Meyers Gettysburg is my favorite choice but would need some graphic updates and H2H battling on-line to keep it going.

Those are my choices. Would be curious to hear your thoughts.

For RTS, I would go with Scourge Of War. Do you own this title, sir?

Oops! Sorry Berto! I meant Berto not Bruno (that's my dog's name). At least I know you read it. :0)

Yeah, I read stuff, I keep abreast of latest developments.

Speaking of which, we are currently working on <censored>.

Bug fixes, game extensions, new features, maybe even a much improved AI -- these will happen sooner or later. Well, maybe not sooner. My hands are full for now working on the much delayed Campaign Series: Vietnam. But eventually, I want to devote much more time and effort to the JTS ACW games. Eventually. :P
