Gentlemen of the ACWGC,

For those who have not heard, we have lost a fine man.

I will post this in the "In Memoriam" sub-forum, but I wasn't sure how many of you visit there regularly.

I saw this today. It's a shame we lost such a talented man.

Wow! What a punch in the gut!

Thanks for passing this on, Dave! I had no idea.

I owe John BIG TIME for all the pleasure I have gotten from the games he created over 25+ years. He will be missed.

Quite a surprise, had not heard anything about his illness, he will definitely be missed.

A great loss to many. Fair winds and following seas.

Deeply saddened by this news. General Swan has certainly enjoyed many wonderful minutes of gaming pleasure using the fine tools John Tiller provided. Our pixels will carry his flag every time they march to the sound of the muskets.

Truly sorry to hear of this. None of this club would exist and for as long as it has without the games and the company & staff he led. Our hobby and the wider world are better for the games he gave us and the friendships we've formed are a benefit of that. I'm very appreciative of all he's done.

My sincerest condolences to his wife & family and to all those who work or have worked with him over the years. He'll certainly be honored & remembered for a longtime to come.

I just saw this when I went to their website. Truly a sad day. As frustrating as playing these games can be, they have been an enjoyment. John, you will be missed by all of us. Prayers go out to his family and friends at this time.
