 Post subject: Problem with game sounds

Gentlemen,

I am having a problem with my Overland game sounds. To be specific I have no marching movement sound when I move units. I have other battle sounds. Any ideas on how to correct this?

I had this same problem. I fixed it by overwriting the sounds.dat file in the Data subfolder with the one from Gettysburg.

If you don't have Gettysburg or another game that works, here is the contents of the sounds.dat file from Gettysburg. Use Notepad or another editor like Notepad++ to open the file and overwrite the contents with this:
5 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 10 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
7 3
7 7 7 0 0 0 7 0 7 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 4 0 0 0 0 0
