So, a few friends outside of this group wanted to do their own WDS gaming stuff. Most members are newbies, most of whom are getting their copies thanks to one of our buddies with deep pockets. Thus, I decided to help out and suggest a few potential MP scenarios. Decided to pull up the old library to refresh my memory and find the exact ones i was thinking of.

And the website is down: https://www.acwgcwarlibrary.net/csawarlibrary .

I've been away for a good while, haven't checked the site in ages, don't know if this is just been the case for the while and I didn't notice. What's happening to that site?

It moved to a new URL, which also took me a while to find. So did the academy page.
https://www.acwgc.net/warlibraries

I found it after a few jumps from https://www.wargame.ch/wc/acw/

I hope the new links can be displayed in a more prominent position in our club page. But I was told that it seems to be having difficulty.

If you want to create a new scenario, Gen. Ken's website(http://acwgc-engineering.com/) is helpful, though many docs have been contained in the Manuals folder of updated games.

Looks like you already found the new link to the War Libraries

Yes, the URL addresses did change a few months back. Same old story. Increasing prices for online sites prompted a move to alternative homes which would be free (with a little advertising from the provider of course). But all the content remains intact.

Just a heads up but I will not be renewing my Engineering site in 2024 and will be closing my account in December 2023.

After 15 years and recoding it for 4 different sites and my interest in miniature gaming and face to face play returning and my grandkids taking up more of my time I don't have the time or the inclination to continue with the cost and upkeep required..

With WDS adding my PDT and OOB file explanations to the Manuals folders the original reason for it's creation has disappeared.
The update I did for WDS to the cwedit manual in 2021 included most of what I covered in my page on using it.
The only thing that is not available elsewhere is Robert Frost's PDT info, my info on running an umpired MP game and the Map file information which I had decided to remove anyway.

Thank you for your very considerable efforts with the CWB Engineering website General Miller; I know it has been a long-standing resource that is much valued by the members here. All things move on though & in the end, that is how it should be.

Thanks yall.

I've been really busy the last month with life stuff (finishing college, moving out my million books out of my apartment, job hunting, etc). I will likely be busy going forward as well with other projects. I may come back to post in the forum once in a blue moon with army strength research I've been doing for the Atlanta Campaign and the 1864 Shenandoah valley, etc etc. Hopefully that can all be made useful by you guys.
