Post subject: Club Rule outdated and confusing new members

Gentlmen,

There is a rule in the club rules that can lead new members astray when registering games and this will serve as a good reminder to us all. The club rules state the following:

"Maneuver: Maneuvers are considered games played by players of the same camp or different camp switching sides. Points will be awarded at 1/2 the rate for a "standard" engagement. This will allow for the CSA or USA Officers to learn about the enemy by playing opposing sides."

A while back this rule was actually changed and as long as the two players switching sides are from different camps (USA/CSA) it is a battle irregardless of the side actually played in the game.

Don
I was a heavy supporter of this and indeed the cabinet made that ruling.

Gentlemen,

I brought this up to the cabinet and since it had already been approved the rules have now been edited showing the rule as it is in effect now. (Thanks Pierre! That was quick!)[:D] Hopefully this will avoid any confusion in the future when registering games.

Thanks.
