Rich Hamilton and myself just finished up playing the 2nd Day at Gettysburg on the HPS engine and had a great time doing it. I've posted my thoughts on the AAR forum at the WarfareHQ forum and I believe Rich will be posting an even better set of notes with screenshots soon. Rich has also started a trivia thread there so some of you CW history whizzes should stop by to see if you can be stumped. Here is the link if anyone wants to visit.

My suggestions for anyone playing this scenario would be to turn rout limiting on and the flank morale modifier off due to the unit density. Rich and I also agreed that the VP hex at the end of the Emmittsburg Pike really didn't make much sense and we ended up dropping the points for it.

Rich Hamilton has posted his notes on the AAR if you care to read them at the WarfareHQ.

i fought this one........ my boys in blue were elbow to elbow... one unit routing would run anywhere but backwards,,, causing the rest to rout,,,,, so i advanced my troops out to meet the Rebs,,,,, did ok,, but it came a draw,,,
