Gentlemen,

As General Pierre has stated elsewhere, I have been ordered to report to Richmond, effective immediately, to assume command of all Confederate forces. I have asked General Chris Cross to serve as my Chief of Staff, and he has graciously accepted.

I want to thank General Jim Thomas for having served not just one but TWO terms as CSA CoA. I also want to thank General Den McBride for stepping up to take the reins as Interim CSA CoA when General Thomas became unable to continue in that capacity due to real life issues. Finally, I want to thank General Mark Zapp for his herculean efforts as CSA Chief of Staff. These men deserve our praise and our deepest gratitude. I doff my hat to all of them, and to all of the dedicated officers on both sides of the club who make this such a great place.

Now, lest anyone think this is about to turn into another "Night at the Oscars", I have asked the bartender to break out a cask of 'Texas Tea' left moldering, er, I mean "fermenting" in the back room by another respected Confederate. (I won't mention any names, but I detected a hint of skunk musk odor when he opened the cask!) Here's to the ACWGC!

Your humble servant,
LGen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory
CSA CoA

General Mallory did you say 'Texas Tea'? I think I know a Confederate who would be awfully upset if he knew there was some 'Texas Tea' left laying around. I will try not to let the cat out of the bag.[:D]

I would also like to thank Jim, Den, and Mark as well. All your hard work is much appreciated.

Regards,

Maj. Gen. Chris Cross
Chief of Staff, CSA
