American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Since returning to the club I've been nosing about to see what if any changes have been made during my absence. Pretty much everything is the same, except the title of the Southern Armies aren't as I remember them to be. Allow me to share my findings.

The AoA stood for, at least I thought it did, the Army of Alabama, but I discovered I was wrong. It really means <b>the Army of Amazons</b>! Well this lead me to look at the other armies to see if my memory had failed me there, as well.

Sure enough, the AotM, stands for <b>the Army of the Maidens</b>! Could've swore that it was the Army of the Mississippi. Ah well, the mind must have slipped a bit during retirement. *sigh*

I searched on and found the ever popular <b>Army of Girls</b>, AoG (formerly refered to as the Army of Georgia.) Bewildered I clicked on another web page to find the Miss Vicky's Finishing School! I was confused so I went to the homepage of the ANV, fairly certain I would find the Army of Northern Virginia. I was wrong.

I found <b>the Army of Naughty Virgins</b>!

Somewhat shocked my findings seemed to explain a couple of things that had always perplexed me: a) why Northern boys were so eager to go fight in the South, and, b) why the war in the East lasted so long!!

Just as I was trying to wrap my mind around these newly discovered facts, I found the explination for it all. <i><font size="4">I had stumbled into General "Fighting Joe" Hooker's personal website!</font id="size4"></i> [:D][:p]

I think you may have the ANV mistaken. From the behaviour I have seen some of them exhibit after a few hours in any of the Taverns I think it highly unlikely that they all could be virgins.
