Gentlemen,

While you are waiting for your copy of Campaign Peninsula.....

For those of you familiar with the Campaign Gettysburg Scenario Information spreadsheet I did, I have now done one for Campaign Peninsula. They are both accessible through links on my web site (scroll down when you get there):

http://www.rootsandsaddles.com/index.htm

In doing the chart I noticed that many of the scenarios that are different versions of the same battle, one difference is the pdt's are changing. It might be worthwhile for someone to analyze those for us and post at the MD.

Also, the game only has one large map, unlike Gettysburg with the 6 that it has. There shows to be three maps but they are all the same with the exception of the flood stage of some of the rivers and swamps. You can see very quickly the difference at the top of the maps (peninsula and seven pines maps) if you look at the Totopotomoy Creek. The WOS map is never used as a complete map but it is probably used to provide sub-maps. The main thing I see in that map is the removal of a lot of the bridges. There are probably other things that I am not seeing on my quick scan of them.

Enjoy.

Don

You're amazing! Once again, thanks. Now if I recall this place once had a bar. If we can find a barkeep, or at least a bottle, I'd be honoured if you'd accept a drink [:)].

Sir, I would be honored to join you in a drink. Maybe they have some of Gen. Nathaniel Bank's personal stash if they received any shipments from Richmond lately. [:D]
