Gents:

Having recently won a major victory over the Rebs at Corinth, the next campaign front end screen provides the following information:

The Confederates have suffered a stunning defeat at Corinth. Luckily for them, no Federal troops impede the Tuscumbia and Hatchie river crossings. The shaken army is no longer in any condition to threaten the Union positions in Mississippi and West Tennessee. The Federal commander, realizing the door to Vicksburg is wide open, orders his divisions in West Tennessee to move south. A vigorous pursuit by the Federals, combined with the severe casualties suffered at Corinth, forces the Confederates to abandon Ripley and continue on to Holly Springs. With only the shattered remnants of the Confederate Army of West Tennessee available to oppose this movement, the "Hill City" is in grave danger.

When I click on "CONTINUE" I get nothing. Is this the end? Is this a glitch? Anybody been here before? Help.

That would be the end of the campaign. It looks like a major Union Victory, though. "The Confederates have suffered a stunning defeat at Corinth"

Yes, I checked the campaign file, and that's a Major Union Victory, and terminal to the campaign.

Its over Ken, you can put the gun down, now. It's over you won.

"Orderly!"

"Take the General back to his tent, please, and then get the Doc over there, quick!"

"On the double man!"

There is a file called campaign.cpd that has all the campaign decision and end screen texts. It is way of verifying what the sometimes slightly confusing texts actually mean. So if you do a search for the first few words of this here text ("The Confederates have suffered a stunning defeat ...") in this file, you get to the following entry:

"Terminal: rrrumajvcorinth MAJOR UNION VICTORY!"

That pretty much clears it up, doesn't it?
