Or is it Lawrence, KS? Geez, I knew the Confederacy was poor, but that poor? Well, at least their White House is sort of white.

Guess I finally found out why Little Mac was not all that keen to capture the sorry dump on the James. [:p]

At least our dome looks complete... ? [:D]

Wait... do we have a dome? Hmmmm... guess not. Well, at least our president can fit under our doorways without stooping! Ha! Take that! Yeah... who's getting picked on now? [8D]

That's why we're fighting... for free trade so we can afford to put a dome on our capital building, too.

OK, Gen. Walter, No fair using satellite (hot air balloon?) imagery! Of course this "photo" lends credence to the rumor that giants inhabit the South![:0]

Gen. Knight,

What do you mean there are no outhouses? What do you think all those buildings labeled "de pot" are? [:D]

From shack to shack you mean? I can just see it. [:D]

Seriously though, I think it's showing that the graphics for the HPS ACW series were done with with the Western Theater in mind (Corinth, Ozark, Franklin), then never adjusted when the series moved on to Seabord Theater titles.

LOL... for the first Peninsula update I actually worked on the city 3d graphics myself (adding brick and more whitewashed buildings). I also made changes to the 3d symbols files. I don't know when these updates will be available.

Right, many years back there was a thread in the tavern (the old one, I think) about these little cute things you see on the BG maps ... the shark ... the little boy with his fishing rod ... the washing on the line ... the rowboat on the Tennessee ... these were maps, you know.

Sounds great. Anyway, I was just kidding. I play in 2D most of the time anyway. I look at 3D only once in a while to enjoy getting a feel for the lay of the land.
