The Army of the Potomac is proud to promote Colonel Jacob Montag to command of V Corps, AoP.

Colonel Montag's excellent record while commanding 1st Division, V Corps and his service as the AoP Quartermaster make him a great choice to continue the fine tradition of leadership for the Corps.

So gentlemen, and Southerners[;)], the beverage of your choice is on me as we toast to Colonel Montag![8D]

uhh...Colonel Montag sir..congradeelations on this hear promotion. I'm sure your a mighty fine candidate for the position.. And I don't mean ta bother ya on your first day on the job and everything, but I just wanted to let you know you can ignore all those grey clad soldiers sweeping in on ya from Jackson's command north of ya there on your side of the Chicken and Hominy river. They're just out fer a Sunday stroll and don't mean you and your boys any harm.[:D]

Hmm.. Well, it's not Jeff but it does start with a "J"!! [:D]

Seriously though, congratulations Col. Montag on your promotion and thanks for being willing to serve. It is members like yourself that continue to renew and refresh this club as it continues to grow.
