I was curious if anyone in the club has used this program that allows you to convert boardgames to computerized games. I have some old Avalon Hill games such as D-Day and the Guns of August that I wouldn't mind converting. What are your thoughts on the program? All comments from experienced users, both positive and negative, are welcomed and appreciated. Fld. Lt. Brad Slepetz III Corps 1st Division 4th "Hell's Rifles" Brigade AoG |

Hi, I have had ADC II now for several years, but have never really used it. There used to be a website where a lot of games had been converted, including House Divided, which I downloaded and tried to play solitaire, but lacked the patience at the time to figure out the ADC mechanics. If you are really interested I wouldn't think it would be that hard, though. I will try to find the site where the wargames were alreadyconverted and post it. MG Mike Mihalik 1/III/AoMiss/CSA |

Yes ADC2 is good. However, it's worth checking out Cyberboard (http://cyberboard.brainiac.com/index.html) and Vassal (http://www.vassalengine.org/community/index.php) too. Both are free. General Antony Barlow CO, Army of the Cumberland |

I use ADC 2 for many board games and it works very well for most of them, but the more interactions there are in a game - as GR/D Second Front - the longer it takes to complete a turn. Some simpler "move-combat" games are very well suited for this type of program. And it's very good for solitaire play too, if you have limited space.
