It is with regret that I have tendered my resignation from the Cabinet. I have not been able to contribute at the level that I expected, and life situations, both domestic and job, promise to limit my ability to fulfill duties even further. General Perrenod, I'm sorry to see you have to give up your civilian position, but I'm glad you'll still be able to retain your place in the army.
