I was just down at the local Electronic Boutique and spotted a new Gettysburg game. It has the Talonsoft logo on the front of box and Take2 company name on the bottom panel. Its a 3d game with a campaign option and single battles. I saw on box a Multi-player option through the Internet, but no mention of PBEM. It was priced at 19.99 US and it had an offer for a free copy of BG 7 Bull Run (details were inside) has anyone purchased this or seen any reviews?

Bill Peters has some comments on it, I think they are down in the smoking room. From what he's said, he was less than impressed.

There's a topic about this game in the off-topic forum. Basically, every review I've seen says it sucks. It doesn't even give the names of the units - only if they are regulars or militia! Save your money and get Take Command 1861: Bull Run instead for a good Civil War game that isn't a turn based HPS/BG style game...

I have played it, forget it.

Kids may like it, my nephew (14 yo) find it fun. But he prefer 1861:Take Command.

The best thing with this game is the $4.00 Battlegrond Bull Run offer.
