I have decided to try to do a weekly (once a week, not weakly<g>) format for what was going on, daily. I should have thought of this earlier in the year, but...

I will start with 1861:

July 2, 1861- Hoke's Run, W.Va- Part of Manassas Campaign -Union Victory

July 5, 1861 - Carthage, Missouri - Confederate victory

Hey Ernie, can you stick with regular colors with the text. These tired old eyes of mine can barely read that blue and red.

The color was for the side that won that battle.<g> I changed the color and added text for the winner.
