The ACWCO Engineering Department gibes very good explanation of the map, oob & pdt files but there is no explanation for the scenario files.
Does someone know a source that explains the scenario files?

If you wish to modify a scn file you should use the Scenario Editor.

The first few lines cover the things that can be changed in the Header section, date, starting time & phase, number of turns, side that moves first, vp's, victory conditions. ammo. Then it lists the map, oob and pdt files. The rest of the file is basically placing the units, position and facing which is easier to do in the editor.

The only thing I have ever modified inside the scn file itself is the name of the pdt file when I wanted to use a modified pdt as is covered in the Scenario Editor section of the Engineering site. Anything else and I use the editor.
