Post subject: | CSA General Promotions |
Gentlemen, The ACWGC Cabinet has approved the following general officer promotions for the Confederate Army: From Colonel to Brigadier General: Nick Kunz, of the Army of Alabama From Brigadier General to Major General: Ricardo Bonachia, of the Army of Georgia John Longstreet, of the Army of Georgia From Major General to Lieutenant General: Chris Cross, of the Confederate Staff (Western Theater) Alphonse de Mere, of the Army of Northern Virginia From Lieutenant General to General: Don Adams, of the Army of Northern Virginia Andy Burke, of the Army of Georgia David Mallory, of the Confederate Staff (CoA) I appreciate the patience of these officers while they waited for me to sift through the paperwork and get these promotions approved. I'm still learning the new system (just as everyone else is), so if your name isn't on the list and you think it should have been, send a courier to my HQ tent and I'll look into it. (FYI, any Yanks who show up seeking CSA general commissions will immediately be put to work cleaning my horse's stable [:o)] !) Normally I would buy drinks in honor of everyone, but since my name is on the list I'll just buy the first round and let someone else buy one for me [:)] ! Your humble servant, Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory David W. Mallory ACW - General, Chief of the Armies, Confederate States of America & Cabinet Member CCC - Sergeant, Georgia Volunteers, Southern Regional Deaprtment, Colonial American Army |

Congratulations! Anyone may check out their own promotion status on the ACWGC Records pages, under reports. If you are eligible for promotion up to Colonel, notice is sent out to your commanders. Promotions to the General ranks requires cabinet approval, before you can sew on those stars, but notice is sent to the chain of command that you are eligible. Ernie Sands LtGen, CO XXIII Corps, AoO ACWGC Cabinet member |

Gentlemen, Congraduations and sincere appreication to all of our Confederate Brothers. I also wish to extend best wishes to BG Nick Kunz. BG Kunz was my mentor and instructor at VMI. BG Kunz also extended me a very warm welcome when I first joined the Confederacy. And special wishes to General Dave Mallory, as he also has been there in my time of need.
