Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to announce two promotions in the Confederate army:

Colonel Patrick Carroll, of the Army of Georgia, is hereby promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.

Colonel Rudy Zodda, of the Army of Northern Virginia, is hereby promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.

I'll buy the first round of drinks here in honor of these two fine officers. However, the big parties will be held in their respective taverns (I'm buying all night there [:D] !), so swing by and have a drink on my tab, and congratulate these soldiers on their fine records.
