As some of you know I have had the worst run of bad luck the past few weeks. Well it continues, my wonderful puppy has dug up the cable lines and chewed them up. The cable company can't get out until Tuesday. So please be patient and when it's back up I will get caught up.

<b>We all tried that in school! "The dog ate my homework!"</b>

And of course the kicker to that one is that occasionally they <i>do</i>. I had a black lab who grabbed one of my research papers off the table back when I was in college. He didn't ruin it because I mangaged to grab it out of his mouth very quickly but he managed to crease it a bit. Trying to explain that to the prof would have be hysterical, I'm sure. I certainly saw enough students try the old "The computer ate my homework" in some of my classes. That one doesn't work either...[:p]

Hey General Cross,
Don't feel to bad, my kids lab pup chewed on the cable from our satilite dish last summer, watching tv one moment then nothing the next.

Hey Gery, have you received any of the copies of the Corinth turn I sent or did you give up on that campaign?

Col. Bastiani,

That's the problem with stopping in here for a quick drink or two -- there always seems to be an opponent I owe a file to sitting in here twiddling his thumbs waiting for my file. [:(]

What's that General Hamilton? You're wondering where the file is for our game from that <i>other </i>club? Actually, I took the turn yesterday and tried to send it out but, er, the dog ate the cable? Wait, that one's been tried. (Besides, I have a cat.) Honestly, I did finally get around to taking that turn and was very pleased with the results, now that my men have reached the battlefield, but we had a storm blow through last night and my wireless connection doesn't like to work in inclement weather. (Don't blame it at all -- that's why I'm inside playing games myself instead of outside working in the yard!) I should be able to get it out tonight.

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory
