Lt. Biggs,
Welcome also, and a fine salute to a fine new officer.

Lt. Biggs, can you confirm for us southerners, a rumor. From what we hear the training, at West Point, is intense. Rumor has it they make you take written exams, learn how to march, tactics, and how to run the five minute mile. Rumor might have it (and our observations) that they place to much emphisis on the running a five minute mile. Can you confirm this, and do they practice this with full packs or are you allowed to practice disgarding your equipment also?[:D][:0]

Welcome aboard Lt. Biggs Suh. General Laabs Suh, your observations are correct. But it's a three minute mile and they are timed on how fast they can shed their gear and beat a hasty retreat[B)]. The faster they can do this task the higher rank they receive when they complete West Point[:D][:D]

I'm sitting here laughing at these posts. You're going to scare the poor man away before anyone gets a chance to beat him up.
